Here’s a Christmas gift for you. Ian Poulter was on a ski trip in Park City, Utah and equipped a GoPro camera to film his skiing experience in the first person.
Unfortunately for Poulter, he ended up crashing into a tree but it all ended in laughs as he was OK. Although it gets plenty cold in England, where Poulter is from, skiing isn’t a very popular activity.
GoPro even had a little fun with the clip.

Maybe tree hugging while tackling the Utah mountians wasn’t such a bad thing. If he made it around the tree and gained more speed, who knows what would’ve happened.
But, hopefully this clip made your Christmas Eve a little brighter in laughter (Especially if you’re a golf fan). Merry Christmas!

Well, it’s official. Tiger Woods finally decided to take a small absence from golf to go and watch his chicka Lindsey Vonn do battle on the slopes. Lindsey mentioned about a month ago that she was upset at the fact that Tiger said that he probably wouldn’t be able to watch her at the Olympics and that supposedly led to “nasty arguments” (Oh, the good ol’ nasty arguments!) between athletic the couple. Just this past week however, Tiger eventually made up his mind and said he would watch her. Below are pictures of him in attendance of an Alpine World Cup watching his Olympic superstar girlfriend courtesy of the Huffington Post and I must say that in the majority of these photos, Tiger sure doesn’t look too interested. This leads me to the question…more nasty arguments? He possibly could just be cold also being from the west coast and all BUT at the same time, he IS Tiger Woods so he’s visited plenty of cold places I’m sure you feel me?

Uh oh. Tiger Woods came out recently and had mentioned that he’s “not sure” if he’ll be watching his girl Lindsey Vonn at the Olympics. The reason why this is a story is because about a month ago or so, Lindsey got pretty mad at Tiger for saying that he wouldn’t be able to watch her at the Olympics and there were claims of “nasty arguments”. Lindsey eventually said that they’re going to try to work it out and see how the schedule is which gave her some optimism of course in hopes of seeing legendary golfer boyfriend at the Games for her. Lindsey then got hurt during a practice run on the slopes but since has been cleared for the Games and that now leaves us where we are now with an unsure Tiger.
“I think that’s just day to day,” Woods said according to Eonline.com. “We just don’t know how her leg is going to be. We’ll just take it day to day, race to race.”
He’s right, nobody’s totally sure how Lindsey’s leg is going to be but she was cleared by doctors so it’s very possible that she’ll be 100% or nearly 100% by the time the Olympics hits. What if she’s good to go and Tiger doesn’t show up? This may mean Tiger must cover his head and run to the nearest shelter in order to avoid hurricane Lindsey because she will make it rain on him I’m sure. This wouldn’t be a story though if she didn’t make things interesting when she got mad at him earlier but then again it’s great because it’s interesting.
So what do you guys think? Think she’ll be mad at her precious little Tiger if he doesn’t support her at the Games? Or do you think she understands his schedule? Let me know in the comments!

It Seems that Tiger Woods has been dealing with some injuries lately and the same thing seems to be happening with his superstar girlfriend Lindsey Vonn who is injured for the second time this year and around an important time as the Winter Olympics is not far off. Reports say that Lindsey suffered a knee injury while training in Colorado according to GolfChannel.com and GolfRumors.com. “She was not admitted to the hospital and is currently being evaluated by (U.S. women’s ski team) Dr. (Bill) Sterett back in Vail. We expect to have clarity on the situation in the next 24 hours.” Vonn’s publicist, Lewis Kay, told NBC Sports. So, let’s hope that it might not be that serious which because as we know, injuries in sports simply suck and a ski injury can be life threatening in many ways. Woods and Vonn have been seen practically all over the place together both on and off the course and were even seen on the sidelines during the big Sunday night football game between Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos and Alex Smith’s Kansas City Chiefs.
Vonn’s injury is just coming not long after there were reports of nasty arguments between the famous couple but is also not long after there were pictures of the two at skiing location getting ready to hit the slopes. Makes you kind of wonder, is it that she’s simply not ready to ski or is it deeper than that? Is the relationship with the no.1 golfer in the world getting to her mentally and making her lose her focus? Who knows but there have been many cases where we see terrific athletes fall because of the things that are on their mind because the mind is more powerful than the body and a crooked, confusing relationship is one thing that will definitely mess with your mind. We’ll see if Tiger will spend some time with her while she’s hurting. So do you think the relationship is messing with her mentally? Or is it simply just an injury?
