Paul Casey has quite a resume in the golf world, winning 13 times on the European Tour and once on the PGA Tour while also finishing in the top 10 in all four majors throughout his career. He may have also netted the award for golf’s “sauciest” smartphone cover.
The cover features a picture of his wife, actress Pollyanna Woodward, wearing nothing but undergarments in black and white style filter. With Casey still looking for that elusive major championship after coming so close, there’s no doubt that he will have a secondary cover with the picture of a major trophy next if he keeps playing well.
At the end of the day, Casey is a man who really loves his wife who happens to be an actress and model. I will say that he ain’t got nothing on my phone case…well, you know, totally different style. #IamIMS

The PGA Championship is off to a hot start this season and the leaderboard is filled with likely and unlikely players which is already making this a really fun tourney. The reason I am writing about weekend guys to look out for so early is because I won’t be writing tomorrow as I will be out of town but without question it will be a great tournament at Oak Hill. Jim Furyk has been playing well, taking advantage of his accurate driving. There are several great players to look out for and the leaderboard is filled with so many different type of players whether they’e heavy hitters or putting masters or, it’s almost anybody’s title. At a course like Oak Hill, it’s always very important to have solid accuracy off the tee and soft touch around the greens. However, it’s both a course for power players and control players which is why Oak Hill is a terrific course to host a major championship and it already shows as there are several players within striking distance. As mentioned above, Jim Furyk is a great guy to look out for at this tournament this weekend as he is one of the most accurate hitters in golf history despite having arguably the lowest power. That’s why Jim Furyk is awesome because he figures out other ways to beat you even though he barely averages 270 yards off the tee. He’s a grinder, he has that trademark looping swing and can be a great putter when he’s on his game. The 2010 PGA Tour Player of the Year is a great choice for a player to look out for.
Another player to look out for is Masters champ Adam Scott as he features a unique combination of power and solid putting so it could very well be possible that he can win another major this year. He is arguably the only all-around player within the top 10. He can easily tear this course apart but with so many other great players on the leaderboard, it will be tough for him to take the Wanamaker trophy and run, plus it’s tough to win two majors in one year unless maybe he changes his name to “Inbee Scott” (Sharing the name of LPGA star Inbee Park who won three majors this year). A surging Paul Casey is also a top player on the leaderboard and Paul hasn’t been a factor on Tour in quite some time. At one point he was one of the most dangerous players in all of golf and was also an all-around kind of player at one point but I feel like he doesn’t have it as much anymore but can still be a solid player.
He’s still one of the best power hitters on tour averaging 299 yards off the tee and if he can putt well the rest of this tournament then it will bid well for a popular player in Paul. Finally, one guy you just can’t help but watch is Matt Kuchar who has had the best season of his career to this point and looks to only get better. The amazing thing about “Kuch” is that he doesn’t have a lot of power or accuracy off the tee but he figures out other ways to win, whether it’s being clutch, having great touch around the greens or getting amazing sand saves. That’s a key thing. He always manages to get himself out of trouble and that’s what can make a player extremely dangerous because he can take advantage of mistake that other players can’t and that’s just one of the many reasons to look out for Matt Kuchar this weekend. Enjoy the rest of the tournament everyone!
