Michelle Wie is never one who is shy to show off her expressive personality. She did it once again by poking a little fun at the LPGA Tour’s new dress code which requires players to basically wear more clothing (although the clothes the players were wearing was fine).
She shared an Instagram post of her rocking a golf skirt and a cutoff golf shirt. She also has her dog with her on the course, with driver in hand.
Although I absolutely love the LPGA Tour, the dress code move was still a head-scratcher. Now, they are getting poked with sticks, first by Lexi Thompson who put together a terrific season, and now, Wie.
There’s no doubt that Thompson’s job looked like it might have been the only one, but Wie waited for the right time to make her move. Who knows if this will be the end of the dress code jabs, but, they’re just a reminder of how bizarre the dress code change was.
I still love the LPGA, but I can definitely understand the slight disdain by tour pros. Oh, by the way, the dog? Best caddy in golf.

The Solheim Cup is one of the best events in golf, and one of the game’s most expressive players is ready. Michelle Wie will be rocking some cool, crystallized style shoes for the team event.
These shiny kicks from Nike are one of the coolest you’ll see, and helps continue a tradition that makes the Solheim and Ryder Cups great; the fashion. Lexi Thompson will also be wearing the flame throwing shoes on the course as well.
Two major champs, rocking champion worthy shoes? Makes sense to me.
No doubt that they’ll be turning some heads at Des Moines Golf & Country Club. Golf has gotten more and more attention for its fashion choices. And the beautiful thing is that, you have more freedom in your apparel choices in golf (players should be allowed to wear shorts though).
We saw Justin Thomas wear a cardigan at The Open, as well as Jason Day and Keegan Bradley rocking Air Jordans on the course.
Golf is a sport where you can let your swagger game fly. Wie and Thompson just reminded us all that once again.

I guess the “Swoosh Squad” sticks together, as Nike representative Michelle Wie received some chipping lessons from Tiger Woods.
If anything, this shows that Woods is figuring out new ways to stay around golf while he’s recovering. Coaching the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open champion was definitely in the plans as Wie happily showed off a couple of pictures of the session.
Who knows what Woods’ future looks like but hey, if Wie starts winning again, Maybe Woods has a future in coaching. Look out Butch Harmon, David Leadbetter and Dave Pelz.

With the new professional golf season starting and the sunset of the 2014 season behind us, it’s time for another exciting of professional golf. The PGA Tour is now in full swing (See what I did there?), Web.com Tour looks to have another great season of rising stars and challenging golf courses and the Champions Tour looks to capitalize on its phenomenal 2014 season.
However, one tour stands out from the rest. The LPGA Tour just absolutely dismantled the odds in 2014 and was by far the best tour of the year.
The majors proved exciting which resulted in wins by Lexi Thompson, Inbee Park, Michelle Wie, Mo Martin and the 19-year old Kim Hyo-joo. Inbee just added to her already dominate resume, Michelle broke through and got a great win and Mo won the Women’s British Open with an unbelievable shot.
Only the LPGA Tour provided us with these moments. As great as the other tours were, the LPGA conquered professional golf in 2014.
It seemed like in almost every tournament, the top players on the tour were towards the top of the leaderboard whether it was Inbee, Stacy Lewis, Lydia Ko, Jessica Korda, Lexi or anyone else, all of the tops were at the top. This while also seeing some fresh faces hanging in there as well and that’s always exciting when you see an unfamiliar player give a star a battle.
Another amazing thing, and this is my opinion, is that 2 of the top 3 players on any tour are on the LPGA Tour. I believe Inbee is the best player in the world right now on any tour and I’ve been guilty of putting Stacy Lewis over her but within the past 2 or 3 years, Inbee is the best player in the world on any tour.
Rory Mcilroy is definitely the second best on any tour but Stacy Lewis is right behind him despite being behind him in majors. If I were to throw a fourth player in there, it would no doubt have to be Bernhard Langer. He’s just made a mockery of the Champions Tour.
But Inbee is the best player to me. She has more majors than Rory, she’s won three straight majors in a year (2013) and they’re both practically the same age. Rory’s only a year younger.
Rory and Henrik Stenson are the top two players in the Official World Golf Rankings. I’d take Inbee and Stacy over them any day of the week. The only thing is, the dudes will likely hit the ball further.
However, they wouldn’t have a prayer in the accuracy category against these ladies. Not just Stacy and Inbee, but a good majority of the women on the LPGA Tour are just dead on accurate off the tee. This is where Rory and Henrik would get destroyed against dangerous players like Inbee and Stacy.
Not saying that the two men aren’t accurate. Henrik alone is arguably the most accurate player on the PGA Tour but the women will practically nail every fairway.
Now if this was 3-on-3 then it would be Rory, Henrik and Adam Scott vs Inbee, Stacy and Lydia Ko. Lydia, the world number one player on the LPGA, is an accuracy machine and would give Adam a run for his dough if she was able to hit it as far as he does.
That’s how good these ladies are and I think golf fans everywhere are starting to notice. What to expect this year on the LPGA Tour?
It’s anybody’s guess but I think it’s going to be a phenomenal season once again and commissioner Mike Whan has just done an unbelievable job with the tour. I’ve personally always been a fan of the LPGA Tour and the class they show and they deserved 2014 and I think they’ll catch 2015 and beyond.
Another awesome thing? Christina Kim looks to be back in the form she was some years ago after her memorable Lorena Ochoa Invitational victory.
I absolutely freakin’ love Christina Kim. One of the fun, cool people in golf and she’s so good for golf it’s not even funny (Well, maybe to her it might be). There’s a lot of great, fun players on all of the tours today and it’s wonderful but Christina was in my opinion one of the first major personalities in golf in the early 2000’s to now.
Before Keegan, Billy Ho, Rickie and others, Christina was that big bundle of energy and was very talented and still is. To this day, she’s still one of the most popular players in the world to fans and is quite a follow on Twitter as well.
So to have Christina back is just the icing on the cake for the LPGA at this point. The fun thing about Christina is that she can be a microwave on the course. When she’s on, she can be hard to beat and she proved that with her Lorena Ochoa Invitational victory.
Her win came after she suffered depression issues so if that isn’t just pure mental skill then I don’t know what is. It wouldn’t shock me if she got another win in 2015.
Overall, the LPGA is looking to have another milestone year. And with the slew of rising talents and some more golf being played on great golf course designs, it’s looking nothing but up for Mike Whan and the LPGA Tour.

Michelle never ceases to wow us whether it’s her long drives off the tee on the course, the weird stuff she does sometimes off the course and the pictures she takes. This picture that was taken a couple of months ago shows Michelle in a complete super model like state. This is seriously the perfect picture you’d put on a travel magazine or website!
Check, check, check it ooooutt!

As we know Michelle Wie is one of golf’s biggest characters and she clearly shows it again with this clip of her eating a live squid. Yup, that’s right, a live squid. This actually isn’t her first time doing so but some people might have forgotten.
Eating live squid is supposed to be a Korean thing much like the type of things you’ll see in several countries including our own. If you don’t get grossed out easily then this is for you.
At least you could look at her face. Although, come on now! Who hasn’t done at least ONE gross thing in their lifetime? You can handle it (Although I would never eat a live squid or live anything for that matter)!
Here you go!
You’re welcome! Glad I could help!

Michelle had withdrawn from the Evian Masters (Which 19-year-old Hyo-Joo Kim won) due to a busted finger. Well, she took advantage of her time off and enjoyed the ever beautiful French alps.
In this Instagram picture, it looked like she just kicked the crap out of another woman who apparently works within her camp. In the background you see gorgeous mountains and other sites.
Here’s the picture of Michelle turning going totally Goku on us.
When you can’t use your hands, use your legs! Now give her some Dragon Balls to give her the power to perform Spirit Bombs!

Golf fans were furious when Paulina Gretzky was the first woman in some time to grace the cover of the legendary Golf Digest magazine because she wasn’t a golfer. Now, however, it’s a different story. One of golf’s most popular figures, the reigning Women’s U.S. Open champion, Michelle Wie graces the cover of Golf Digest’s latest issue.
It’s a breath a fresh air for those who felt offended that a female golfer wasn’t on the cover. On the cover, Michelle is rockin’ a hat that says “BEAST” while wearing a Nike tank top.
Here it is:
There’s no better time than now for Golf Digest to show the LPGA Tour some love as there are so many terrific players right now such as Michelle, Inbee Park who’s arguably the best golfer in the world of any tour (More majors than Rory, same age) and Stacy Lewis.
Then you have players on the rise like Lydio Ko and Lexi Thompson. So it’s cool to see that this great tour gets some love.
Leave your comments on the cover! You can also subscribe if you haven’t done so yet! Or you can follow me on Twitter @ChiGolfRadio!

Michelle’s at it again! This time, she’s trading in her golf shoes for Nike basketball shoes. In one of her new Instagram pics, Michelle is seen doing a solid replica of Michael Jordan’s “Jumpman” dunk which became the logo of the world famous Jordan brand.
There’s absolutely no surprise that this picture was taken because as we know, MJ is one of the biggest golf enthusiasts in the world so why not have a major champ attempt to perform your dunk?
Plus, Michelle is pretty freakin’ tall too (6’1″)! Allen Iverson was dunking at 6’0″ so I don’t see why Michelle couldn’t throw it down. Here’s the pic below.
She practically nailed it! As a big Bulls fan, I can appreciate this and I know fellow Bulls fans will agree! All she needs to do is stick the tongue out!

Daaang girl! Michelle Wie went in after winning her first major title at the U.S. Women’s Open. She pulled a Stanley Cup and started drinking beer out of the Open trophy and she also did a little wall twerking (Same thing as booty clapping). She’s also rocking the now trademarked hat of hers backwards like a boss! You can check out the short video below thanks to Golf.com for this!
I for one, am not a drinker but it sure looked like a good time! I would’ve been the one trolling and filming all of the drunk rich people because that’s what I do apparently!
