You’re Not Going to Believe How Justin Rose Injured His Shoulder

Well then, I know how this happens, especially to an all-around player who’s likely going to be a hall of famer. According to Kyle Porter of CBS Sports, defending U.S. Open champion Justin Rose who has been sidelined for a few months, injured his shoulder….by throwing a golf ball to his caddie. HIS CADDIE! Can you believe it? No, the real obvious highlight is that he injured himself throwing one of the lightest balls in the world although it’s arguably the most dangerous ball to get hit with because yes, it’s harder than a baseball and a hockey puck. But, J-Rose threw the ball so it wasn’t like he got hit with it. I’m as dumbfounded as you are on this one, tilting my head in confusion as how you can injure your shoulder throwing something so light. Maybe his caddie was all the way on the other side of the globe and Justin decided to chuck it as far as he could, messing up his shoulder. Of course, as awesome as Justin is, he played through the injury like a boss.

“I played pretty much from October last year with it not perfect. I assumed a little bit of rest over Christmas would heal it, but it didn’t really and that’s when I knew I needed to put a little bit of extra time into it – but nothing serious, nothing torn, no surgery required, nothing like that.” Rose said according to CBS Sports

it’s just one of those awkward moments I guess but the injury wasn’t too bad obviously if he played through it. It was just amazing that someone like that got hurt by throwing something so small and light. Again, it’s not like he’s just a small ball guy, he’s an all-around player which makes him dangerous. Anyway, all the best for J-Rose and remember guys, if something like this happens, always blame it on the caddy. Even if it isn’t golf related, blame some random guy’s caddy anyway. Even if you aren’t near a golf course, blame it on a caddy. Also, Alex Miceli of GolfWeek has more on the Rose injury.
