The letter that has been popping up around the internet is a picture of a letter that was sent to Tiger Woods following his amateur performance at the 1995 Masters. Woods finished T-41 in the tournament that year and was the low amateur at that particular Masters. The significance of the letter is that Mr. Stephens mentions that he hopes to see him return for the 1996 Masters which is pretty ironic since that letter was sent just two years prior to Woods having arguably the most dominant Masters performance in history in 1997. The letter is now displayed in the Tiger Woods Center at Nike World Headquarters in Oregon for your viewing pleasure. Never been a fan of Tiger Woods but that’s a pretty sweet little letter.
