Well, Chi Chi Rodriguez is known for his celebrations and goofy personality on and off the course but this time I guess the golf decided to get him back. During his cameo appearance on the popular reality show the Big Break, Chi Chi apparently hit a golf sign with his name on it that ricocheted and nailed him while the participants were watching who are NFL players, cheerleaders, etc. Sure, Chi Chi may not have quite the power he once had but it doesn’t matter how hard you hit a golf ball, if it ends up bouncing off of something and nails you back then it will HURT because a golf ball is probably the hardest ball in the world so the pain could be pretty bad. But Chi Chi being the badass that he is took it like a boss and then re-teed the ball to nail the shot. Check out the video below yo! Thanks to Golf Digest for the clip!
So what do you think? Some may think it didn’t look that bad but again, a golf ball is rock solid so it can still be pretty darn painful. One thing’s for sure though, Chi Chi is still showing that he has it! He had a pretty solid career too despite not winning a major, maybe one of the best players to never w in a major. Dude was pretty much good at everything and had kind of a Lee Trevino kind of style of play with w=his accuracy off the tee. We love you Chi Chi! You the man!
